About Our Company
Titan Real Estate Group’s mission is to transform challenging projects into extraordinary places. We provide development, construction and management services for our own projects, and for other developers, partners, general contractors, communities and not-for-profits, too.
Our team has a wealth of experience in multifamily residential, mixed-use, single-family homes and commercial project development, new construction, and renovation. Our projects often present challenges. We have become adept at solving thorny real estate problems and delivering exceptional results though our integrated approach to development, construction and management. Titan Real Estate Group was founded by Jodi Gregory Funke and Archie Searp in 2010. Titan is a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
Jodi Gregory Funke
Jodi began her real estate career working with her family’s company to acquire land and develop subdivisions. The business added rental homes to its portfolio, and Jodi gained hands-on property management experience. In 2005, Jodi joined Sibcy Cline and earned her real estate license. One year later she started JK Realty, her own brokerage agency. Jodi launched Titan Real Estate Group in 2010.
Under her leadership, and that of business partner Archie Searp, the company has successfully developed multifamily buildings, single-family homes, and commercial properties. They added an in-house construction team for Titan projects and third-party general contracting, now accounting for half of annual revenues. The company also acquires and manages a growing portfolio of apartments.
Titan Real Estate Group has earned WBE and WOSB certifications by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, the largest certifier of businesses owned, controlled and operated by women in the United States.
Chief Operating Officer
Archie started his real estate career in property management and residential construction, working for several property owners. From 2001 to 2002 he was a field supervisor with a company performing demolition, carpentry, flooring and painting for a large tax credit developer. In 2002 a major Cincinnati urban multifamily developer contracted with Archie to streamline management processes for its portfolio of several thousand apartments. He reduced operating expenses by 25%.
For seven years prior to forming Titan Real Estate Group with Jodi Gregory Funke in 2010, Archie gained experience in commercial, multifamily and single-family housing development. As COO of Titan, Archie oversees real estate development, construction and management operations, and company finances, assuring Titan’s managers successfully reach their potential and the firm’s goals.
Lew Bonadies, LEED AP
Director of Marketing
Lew brings 25 years of marketing and business development experience to Titan. In college he formed a house painting enterprise, employing classmates, brothers and sisters during summers. Lew started his marketing career in copy writing and client service with business-to-business advertising agencies, He spent five years as vice president of marketing for Al Neyer, a leading commercial real estate development and design-build firm headquartered in Cincinnati since 1894.
He has also provided business development consulting services for architecture and engineering firm KZF Design, and served as vice president for a green building consulting firm with national and international projects. Lew is a member of the US Green Building Council and a LEED Accredited Professional.
Lew is responsible for marketing Titan and its projects, and works closely with Jodi to tell our story and build lasting relationships with customers, prospects, partners and influencers in the marketplace.
Senior Project Manager
Randy has over 25 years experience in commercial construction, project management, estimating and contract negotiation. He is a University of Cincinnati graduate introduced to a career in construction through college co-op assignments with a local General Contractor.
Over the years, Randy has worked on dozens of projects like the Emery Center Apartments conversion, The Banks mixed-use retail and residential development on the Cincinnati Riverfront, and the new Empower Media Marketing headquarters in Over-the-Rhine. His experience encompasses historical renovation, adaptive reuse, ground-up construction, and site development on projects ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to $169 million.
Randy is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who understands drawings, contracts and people. He keeps projects moving ahead with constant attention to cost and schedule, and a win-win approach to working together. When he’s not on the job, you may find Randy on the field refereeing high school or college lacrosse, playing tennis or golf, or spending time together with his family.
Amanda took engineering classes in college and began her career in customer service for a real estate company with properties that included single family homes. Her initial assignments at Titan were property management roles at apartment complexes owned by our company.
Amanda’s technical abilities and people skills led to project management assignments on construction projects for Titan and our third party customers. She embraced our new project management software, was instrumental in the transition, and maintains files on all our projects.
Amanda’s prime responsibilities are in design and the selection of finishes for our own and third-party projects. She also handles specification and procurement of construction materials, components, supplies, hardware and appliances. Amanda has a laser focus on quality and value for our company and our clients.
Project Manager Intern
Abdullah is an Architectural Engineering student at the University of Cincinnati. He brings experience with a large architecture and engineering firm and is highly proficient in design software. Abdullah’s career goal is to design and construct his own residential buildings.
He has held student leadership roles and participated in leadership conferences in Chicago and Washington D.C. with Toastmasters International and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Abdullah assists our team with take-offs, estimating, bids and construction management.
Mitch is a go-to problem solver who leads his Titan crews by example, demonstrating 110% commitment to customer satisfaction. He is a consummate planner and keeps his projects rolling on schedule through constant communication, focus and adaptability.
In addition to experience in rough carpentry and trim work, masonry, plumbing and electric, Mitch is a heavy equipment operator skilled in excavation, site grading and preparation, and road construction.
Mitch says his passion is building, and we’re giving him plenty to be passionate about!
Damon joined Titan Real Estate Group in 2013 as a property manager when Titan acquired and renovated The Greens of Madison, a 79-unit apartment property in Madison, Indiana. He came to us with a diverse background and excellent references: manager of a quality-oriented automotive services business, crane operator for a specialty steel company, and experience as a casino dealer.
Damon is responsible for all tenant relations, rent rolls, maintenance, repairs, grounds keeping and turnovers at The Greens of Madison, currently our largest holding. He is an outgoing people person who relates well to our residents, from recent graduates to seniors.
