A Covington-based real estate company is finishing up work on six luxury condos in downtown Cincinnati.
Titan Real Estate Group, a property development, construction and management company, purchased the Dominion Building at 808 Elm St. and renovated the nearly 7,300-square-foot, two-story building into six condos.
I wrote about Titan Real Estate’s project in June 2016. Now, the condos are on the market.
The Dominion Building condos are scheduled to host an open house from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 5. All six condos are available to walk through, while two of the condos have been staged.
Dominion condos are listed at $415,000 for the two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit and $305,00 for the one-bedroom unit.
When I first wrote about the project, Jodi Funke, president of Titan Real Estate, told me she was attracted to the building’s location and structure.
“The bones of this building are excellent,” Funke told me at the time. “Over-the-Rhine is hot right now, but there’s a lot of noise at night. Here, you’re close enough to the action but you can go home and not have all the stuff that’s going on in Over-the-Rhine.”
Originally constructed in 1880, the building previously was remodeled in 1945 and again in the 1990s. The building has been home to an automobile repair shop as well as housing locksmiths, electricians and law offices before Titan Real Estate acquired it.
Titan Real Estate transformed the building into four two-bedroom condos and two one-bedroom condos. The ceilings are high, ranging between 9 and 13 feet.
Two of the condos have stained and polished concrete floors, three have bamboo floors and in one the original hardwood flooring was reclaimed and refinished.
The condos have exposed brick walls and built-ins, gourmet kitchens with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and range hoods, and qualify for a 10-year city of Cincinnati tax abatement.
